ABOUT MY WORK * Media : Acrylic , Pencil, pen and ink, oil pastels, printmaking and pottery.

· Subject matter- Still life, Portriats, Combining and interacting elements in nature and the human figure. * Inspired by : Natural forms, positive and negative shapes, minimalism and simplicity, earthern colors , human figures, emotions and music. My work is mostly abstract, realistic and minimalistic. I try to create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility by using only the minimum in achieving the desired effect.

I work mostly from life, pencil and color studies, selected photographs taken by myself ( of the object or landscape that I am working from).

I love to portray “the everyday object” in unexpected surroundings, settings by using combinations of color and negative spaces . At times, I like to zoom in on a subject and almost overwork the image to achieve photo-realism in combination to an otherwise abstract canvas. I want to portray God’s love, His creation, and His gentleness in my paintings.

It’s more like a ministry to me and how I can tell people about God through my art.
