Artist Nancy Nieves
Nancy Nieves
Nancy Nieves was born in New York City, New York. As a young girl she attended the High School of Music and Art, in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Fines Arts from Parsons School of Design and a Masters of Fine Arts from Hunter College.
During her studies at Parson’s she entered the exchange program studying at Winchester School of Art in England. At the end of the semester she traveled throughout Europe studying art history.
Nancy is always inspired by her environment and North Carolina has inspired her. She is working on a series called North Carolina Trees. She is incorporating her abstract ideas with the North Carolina scenery.
She is now teaching art for Gaston College in Dallas, North Carolina.
Nancy is available for private art lessons, art consultations, portfolio preparations and jury work.
