Govindan, Senior Executive VP, Innovation Banking, for Bank of America.
He will give a presentation on the benefits and uses of social networking
for artists, as well as how to connect and receive corporate sponsorship

October 13, 2009 7pm - Our speaker will be Ron
Mechling from Shelby, NC He will show us slides of his most resent
works of wood turnings and share thoughts on getting outside the box

be held at the Gaston Public Library Main Branch where the Members
Miniature Show awards will be presented.

Boyd will give a presentation on opportunities offered at the McCall
Center for the Arts in Charlotte, NC

Artist Kathy Sharman has graciously
accepted the invitation to chat about the process involved in grouping
art together for a juried show. She requests that members bring
several of their works in progress for a group activity, and perhaps a
little critique. If you have a piece you’re “stuck” on, and could use
a fresh perspective from other members, be sure to bring it!
