A Call to all Artists – Last Chance to Participate
Do not miss out on your chance to participate in a Fine Arts show in downtown Gastonia. In a final effort to communicate to all Guild members what the Catawba River Artisans feel is a wonderful opportunity to expose Gastonia to some great art, we are once again sending out an invitation to be a part of this show. We have rolled back the increased pricing to the original amounts and are offering our Resident Artists a couple of options for participating.
The Catawba River Artisans, in partnership with Gaston County Art Guild, would like to extend an invitation to local artisans to participate in a Veteran’s Day Art & Music Fest on November 10th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and November 11th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. This Fine Arts show will be held at Arts on Main, 212 W. Main Ave., Gastonia, NC.
Resident Artists are being offered a couple of options to participate. You may open your studio and pay a onetime fee of $20, work and sell out of your studio, and pay no commission on any sales made from your studio. Artists who have paid a fee to participate are responsible for handling the sales and collecting NC sales taxes. You may want to make arrangements to process credit card sales. If you have to run a credit card sale through the Gift Shop you will have the Resident Artist’s standard commission taken on the sale. If you prefer, you may open your studio and sell your art through the Gift Shop, pay the standard resident artist commission but pay no show fee.
The Schiele Museum is seeking volunteers to be the Mascot for 2 upcoming events - Reptile Day & Dinosaur Day.
Dates: (note 2 persons needed for each time slot, because the person wearing the mascot suit needs a spotter)
If you are available for either date and time slot listed under 1, 2 or 3, please email to receive additional information.
