Meeting Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 7 pm
Join us for our February meeting. Artist Kathy
Sharman has graciously accepted the invitation to chat about the
process involved in grouping art together for a juried show. She
requests that members bring several of their works in progress for a
group activity, and perhaps a little critique. If you have a piece
you’re “stuck” on, and could use a fresh perspective from other
members, be sure to bring it!

Juror: Seymour Simmons III
Seymour Simmons III, Ed.D. is an
Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Design at Winthrop
and teaches both art education and studio art courses. He has a B.F.A.
in Printmaking from Colorado State University, as well as Masters and
Doctorate degrees in Education from Harvard University where his
degree was in Philosophy of Education.
